When there is a question or situation that makes it hard for the presenter to summarize the information in a concise manner, then a big mistake is made.Your audience expects you to be able to summarize a lot of information. They don't want you to leave out important details. That is why, in order to properly summarize a presentation, one should know how to summarize.The basic form of a presentation is simply a big block of text that has been broken down into easy to understand chunks. It should have a title and then go into what the topic is. For example, if the presentation was about the use of computers for school projects, the first paragraph would include a title. The second paragraph would contain a recap of the first paragraph, and the third paragraph would recap the second paragraph.Make sure to always remember the order in which the paragraphs should be written. It's also good to include a back-up at least once so that you can run through the key points over if needed.The way to make your readers think about your topic is to make sure that they understand it. There are some people who are gifted with the ability to relay knowledge in a simple manner. For others, it takes more effort. Still others may have to work hard to convey information that the rest of us just know.Sometimes you can get caught up in trying to think of a new technique that will solve the problem. Don't forget to keep in mind that while you may be thinking of something, your audience doesn't care. You have to make them think of it.Before beginning to make a presentation, write a summary of the most interesting topicor topic that you can think of. Then, as you start writing, make sure that the first sentence of the summary has a catch phrase. That phrase should be an interesting and engaging one.Sometimes the best summaries are the simplest ones. It is often hard to create a real interest in a complex subject. This means that instead of trying to find a single phrase to tell your audience what they need to know, take some time to tell them what you want them to know.
